San Francisco Civilian Emergency Services Training and Activity Schedule Here is the latest schedule of activities that might interest you - and save your life, family and property. Remember, this is my compilation and not official in any way. Participate! Learn! Prepare! If you are holding a "Ham Cram" or other Ham Radio training session, please let me know. I'll post it here! March 28, 2001 NERT Coordinator's meeting. 1830 Hrs at the 911 center, 1011 Turk St. April 20, 2001 -- There will be a citywide drill for the professionals. ACS members may participate. Contact ACS for details. April 21, 2001 - NERT and ACS will drill at the Marina Middle School. Continuous: Training for the San Francisco Fire Department's Neighborhood Emergency Response Teams. This is THE basic training to take if you want to get through the coming earthquake and other emergencies, let alone help others. Check the link or call 415-558-3456 for the latest training schedule. Hint: Call. You might encourage the formation of a class in your neighborhood! Special Call for Volunteers: If you are, or know, a person with a DISABILITY who would like to participate as a rescuer or "expert" victim in any upcoming NERT drills – WE WANT YOU! I prefer to be ready, thank you very much! The Office of Emergency Services, Auxiliary Communications Service, holds it's Staff meetings on the first Tuesday of the Month.
